Equities & Commodities on Hyperliquid

HIP-3 is Hyperliquid's framework for listing traditional assets — stocks, indices or commodities — as tradable on-chain perpetuals. Unlike a centralized broker, exposure lives in your HL account with the same margin, leverage and liquidation model as crypto perps.

This attracts traders who want diversification beyond BTC or ETH without fragmenting their stack across platforms. Liquidity and hours depend on the instrument and underlying market; Hyperfolio does not promise traditional market data beyond what Hyperliquid's API publishes.

The operational result is a hybrid portfolio: crypto perps, spot, HYPE staking and HIP-3 positions in one account. Without a tracker that understands that model, you lose visibility on real risk across digital and traditional assets.

Hyperfolio reads Hyperliquid's public API and shows your HIP-3 positions alongside the rest of the portfolio: size, LONG/SHORT direction, leverage, unrealized PnL and contribution to total equity. No separate panel needed for stocks or gold if you already trade on HL.

The dashboard aggregates everything in one equity number and breaks down per ticker. Smart Money, Markets, wallet tracking with push alerts and Top 100 by 30-day PnL remain focused on the Hyperliquid ecosystem — including relevant activity from traders who also trade HIP-3.

If you also use AsterDEX, Hyperfolio aggregates both venues in read-only mode. For HIP-3 specifically, coverage depends on what Hyperliquid lists and exposes via API — Hyperfolio reflects that data without inventing positions.

Trading TSLA or XAU on Hyperliquid is not opening a Robinhood account. It is on-chain exposure with wallet, perps margin and HL liquidation risk. Comparison to traditional brokers only serves as asset reference, not infrastructure.
